Hmmm... so i potentially broke it more than it was. I have not powered it since then, so I guess I'll just have to get my IC kit on when i get a chance and see if it does it again.

classic problem child that is now giving a code 4.
Here is the story ...
Was my parents, been sitting in the garage for 2 years. Once I finally got to it, it had the standard code 10 so ordered a cap/IC kit. As a quick check until it arrived I grabbed some regular long stem electrolytic caps from Frys and stuck 'em on the 201 & 301. It started right up. But to test, I left it on over night. In the morning it was off with a code 4. Nearly everything I find on these TV's is the 2/10, almost nothing on a 4 other than it is also P related. My question then, is the...
