hi tom ...me again... the SJ guys sent me another SN board(we presumed that the first one was bad),i mounted it and again the tv aint working..but now i even cant start it,as soon as i power it i get 4 blinks!
when i disconnect SN board i get 4 blinks,when i disconnect SC board i get 7 blinks...when both disconnected i get 6 blinks!?
its really disappointing...but i think i messed it up all the way!

ill try..but the main problem is ...that there arent many TX-p42x20e models and substitute parts for taht model of tv...it seems it that that model was sold in Europe much more than in USA,and other countries!

tom,i got this answer from a technician where i bought the SN board
[I]there is a adjustment called a VS adjustment it would be on the power board . Most of the time they write it on a tag on the inside of the panel on a tag or something like 187volts. if you dont have a meter and stuff , you find this adjustment and adjust it with a small screw driver till the distortion clears. WARNING the power supply is on, so do shock yourself.[/I]

TPVSCN reads 42V on both sides...TPVAD on on connection 187V..on other where the cap is reads 0V on bottom..and on top of the cap reads 187V! is that ok now ?

Here are the pictures...the menu is affected as soon as i open the settings,first menu where i choose some options like picture,sound,security isnt affected !
btw. Original part has this mark on him TNPA5066AB,but i wasn able to find it,i found one seller that had TNPA5066AC,and that part has been marked as substitute part for my original!...

hi tom..i hope you can help me..i had a 7 blinks on my Panasonic Plasma TX-P42X20E...i searched the net and found out that the problem most likely is in the SN board...i ordered it ,and succesfuly replaced it. The plasma fired up,the picture was on but the colours were all mixed up...like red and green...i hope you could help me somehow! thank you
