After replacing some of the caps on the SMPS, I tested the 12v and 24v lines coming out of the SMPS and I didn't see any voltage when it wasn't plugged into the Main Board. If I plug in the MB connector and then test the same pins I get voltage, but it's not the correct voltage and seems to vary quite a bit (3-16v, etc). When plugged in like this, I can also see a red blinking light on the scalar board. any ideas?
Looks like there is something wrong with the SMPS, but I'm not sure how to test or trouble shoot from...

Sorry for the late reply! I finally got my replacement caps from Digikey and into Replik8tr yesterday. We replaced the single cap on the W1 board (your pic #3) which had already been replaced once, as well as all six on the SMPS (cap cluster in your pic#2).
Previously, the tv wouldn't come on with the power button, just the red static light. Now the light turns green on power and starts blinking, as well as a small backlight flicker that comes on about once a second. Unfortunately, we don't seem...

Coincidentally, I'm in Missoula working on fixing the same TV [model]!I don't really know what I'm doing, so I'm planning on just replacing as many caps as I can afford and hope that the TV starts working.
