I will check the regulators. Also i will admit i only changed the 1 off green cap. I got the cap from Maplin electronics not sure who the manufacturer is. I guess i should change the other caps before trying anything else???...

Hello, I changed the cap which appeared to be bad but no difference. I am not sure what to change, the main board or T-con. Any suggestions?? Just to add that the fault with the picture is all to the right hand side which isn't apparent in the pic I posted.Leave a comment:

Sorry but what does cold side mean??? Do mean all the caps in the area i have marked with red attached??
I have circled a cap in green that i was planning on changing but now i look at the ones circled blue they also look bad.
Do you agree??

Right ok, i have got the back off powered it up with the black probe on the chassis. When you say red probe on the connections from the PSU i assume you mean the connector blocks??? There are five as i have circled red in the pic. Do i probe each red wire on the connector blocks as there are more than one on some of the blocks?

Hitachi 32LD6600B strange picture
Hi all, i have the above TV with a strange picture problem. The sound is working but thats all. I cant see any menu at all. I have unplugged the LVDS cable & cleaned it but no difference. Could it be the main board?? I have noticed what i think is a bulging cap on the psu board not sure if this would cause it??
Any help would be appreciated.
