Excuse me but i don`t understand what md chip is.... are you refering at that MB39A132?
One other thing: if the chip`s only task is to take care about the battery i think the laptop should have started and not charge the battery but mine doesn`t start at all. Does this chip do other things too?

Hi, i`m having the same problem as [B]m4a2t0t[/B] and i would like to know if replacing those 3 parts resolved the problem or if it were other parts burnt also.
I replaced the diode and mosfet then i saw that the ic MB39A132 had a "blown like" dot exactly at pin 1.
As i said i would like to know if it resolved the problem those 3 parts because if it didn`t i will throw away the laptop because it doesn`t worth it.

Hi all!
I have the same problem as ayahali has. I replaced the two mosfets 4407a from the power supply(not sure if they were burnt but i replaced them anyway) and now that TPS51125 is burnin hot.
I want to say that the motherboard charges the battery but it won`t start.
