I have a 10-year-old Acer AL1914 LCD monitor which suddenly started showing vertical lines over the left half of the screen. (See pic.) I have already recapped the power supply board. I also removed all of the electrolytic caps and diodes from the main board and checked them for capacitance and ESR. All seem OK.
Is this monitor beyond repair? Does anyone have a main board they'd like to sell?

Hello. I'm a 69 year old hacker, ever since a crystal radio when I was a boy scout. And I hate to throw anything away if I can fix it. Now I have an lcd computer monitor that I can't figure out. Thanks to everyone for your help. -

Hello. I'm a really old hacker - 68. I built a crystal radio as a Boy Scout, built every HeathKit they put out, and programmed a vacuum tube computer. My latest hack project was hacking Tivo's to network them. I hate to hire others to fix stuff and have a broken LCD monitor. I'm really glad to find you all.
