I've tried disconnecting the inverter boards already with no change. Shouldn't the power supply turn on with the 4 volt signal from the main board when the TV is plugged in? I get no power on the 12, 18 and 24 volt coming off the power supply....
I checked the two inverter boards. Caps look good, no blown fuses. No apparent damage.
I tried searching for the same TV and same problem with no luck. It seems odd that the green LED turns off after 2 seconds and no power except the 5v standby. Any other suggestions to check? I can post pictures of the inverter boards if that will help.
Hi, new to the forums. Got this TV from a friend who was going to throw it away so I was going to give it a shot at fixing it.
What the TV does is when you first plug it in you get a green LED on the front for about 2 seconds then nothing. Checked the power supply and I had found one bad capacitor that had vented. It was a 450v, 22uF capacitor which I replaced and no change. I get 5v standby and no other voltages.
When you first plug the TV in and the green LED is lit up I get 4v to the on/off port on the power supply with no other voltages. It would seem to me like the power...
