Thanks for the reply, i am a amateur when it comes to this, first time i have ever seen the inside of the tv never mind trying to repair it, lol, i will google mosfets as i tried to get a second hand y-sus board with no luck yet. Thanks for your help.

Hi, wondering if anyone can help i have a 50" plasma tv i was watching it the other day and it just shut down, then started clicking and the red power light stated going off and on as if the tv was trying to start. So i opened the t.v. had a look around and no caps seem to be damaged but the underside of the power board was discolored in areas. So i bought a second hand one, put it in and the same problem still exists, i read further back in the forum about disconnecting the y board. So i unplugged the board on the left from the power...
