No joy in Mudville I'm afraid. C2 board does nothing, solid black vertical line remains. At only $30 for hte board, suppose it was worth a shot. Now to determine if I want to part out the parts or find a good home for the boards. Capkid, you're close to me, want the parts? Can work something out (barter, not $$), PM me if you are interested. New to the site and know this may have been already covered but I wanted to get a better idea with a little more detail behind it for an issue I am having.
Have the 2-3" black bar that runs vertically the entire length of the display (middle third). The bar is solid black, no additional lines or artifacts. I located the applicable C2 plug and the PDP ribbon cable was tight. When I remove the ribbon cable, I get snowy noise in the entire bar area. When I replace the ribbon cable it goes back to solid black. Have ordered a spare C2 board in hope that the problem can be isolated to it...

Am writing from Seattle, having been in the electronics industry for nearly 38 years. Finding this site particularly useful and have a Plasma vertical line issue which I believe can be best addressed by one of the members. Thanks very much for putting this site up !
