HannsG HW191D Problem
I'm having problems with my 8 yr old monitor (Please see attachment). Is it a corrupted firmware? Do anyone have a firmware of this model or any service manual? I think it has something to do with the LVDS mapping but i don't have any info regarding the service mode of this monitor. Any help will be appreciated...thanks.....

Re: Packard Bell Easynote NJ65-AU-003ACb
Thank you very atsio. Is this still valid since in the schematic, it says rev 1a but in the PCB revD? Anyway i assume this is still ok..its just a revision...

Packard Bell Easynote NJ65-AU-003ACb
Good days Guys,
Currently i have for repair a Packard Bell Easynote model NJ65. Symptom is dead (not powering up). When pressing power button, the power indicator just blink and nothing happens (power adapter is connected). Initial check indicate 19V output on AC adapter (twisting end cable still output 19V indicating a working AC Adapter). Hoping others encountered the same model with the same symptom. Any help is highly appreciated. Will post the PCB here one i open up this laptop. Will update this thread..thanks for any input!!

Re: TDK 517 component - can anyone identify picture
Ok pnb. I'm very much interested in revisiting the project. A partial glimpse on the schematic of 867B (same board used on 865) suggest there's more problem other than RT1 on the AC input circuitry that prevents the ASIC from starting normally in AC mode. RV1-RV3 (varistors) should be checked also. 80% chances that the ASIC (RIC2) is ok since other function of the GMM is working normally, only the AC mode side is acting strange.
Additionally, try also to clean the contacts of the rotary switch and ensure proper...
