New to the forum, but not forums. I am well versed in comp hardware, but not so much in TVS. I have the Phillips 42PFL5432D/37. Like others here, it started chirping and my screen went black The warranty is of course expired, so my DH put it in the room under the stairs. I started researching and found it was the power supply. I have confidence that I can replace either the caps or the whole unit.
