wow, good information; if I did more re-capping, I would recondition them. I have probably 50+ caps that I have collected over the years; would it be worth it to anyone to recondition them? I don't want to sell them, just give them to someone who will put them to good use.

New/Old Capacitors
When do new capacitors become too old to use? They are Panasonic, Rubycon and Nichicon capacitors; a few of the labels show a date of Dec 2003. They have been stored in the original shipping bags; are they too old to use?

MSI K7D Master L (RED)
I am having problems with the cpu voltage being too low, It all started when the overheat alarm went off and I shut it down, now the cpu voltage is low and when I go to the bios and try adjust it there it gets worse. I have tried a new power supply and new cpus so any ideas? Thanks -

Thanks for the quick reply, so if I understand this the caps circled in blue should be 6.3v 2200uf and the ones in red should be 16v 1500uf?? Thanks again

Need Help Plz
I am recapping my MSI KT4V MS-6712 Ver: 1.0. I have recapped the board but in my haste I think I mixed up the six capacitors by the CPU socket. If I read the board right it's the following numbers EC15, EC18, EC22, and EC80, EC92, EC113. Can anyone send me the correct capacitance for these? Thanks for your help

Cap question
Whats the lowest uf rating you would change. I read some where that its 1000uf and up, and stay away from the tiny 1's around the BIOS????

That bites, the video card and the power supply are about 6 months old. well looks like I need to get a list together of my computer parts here and then next month get all my other computers searched and just do 1 big order. I almost bought a VP6 off e-bay that had that problem, glad I got out bid.

Hi I find your website very informative. I just recapped two motherbaords a BP-6 and a VH6-II. They were both ran overnight on Sandra 2004 burn-in, without a glitch. Thank you for your help.
On to the next project.
I have been checking all my caps and I have found that I have some Jackcons on a video card and some Teapos in a power supply, its like they are everywhere. Should I replace them???

Windows XP install on BP6??
