Re: 6 year old 50" Maxent Plasma
I didn't post here to be ridiculed. I understand I made a mistake in letting that switch go. Didn't need anybody here to display their own immaturity with such responses. Problem solved though, no thanks to anybody here.

Gave this away to someone with more time on their hands than I have. Referred him to this site. Thanks.

Re: 6 year old 50" Maxent Plasma
Those pics were from yesterday. This morning turning it on, it is flickering. It isn't like the whole screen flashes at once all the time. Seems like random places. Sometimes shooting all the way across screen sometimes not. Sometimes top half, other times just a corner. Wow! it just flickered again and then the screen shows perfect picture.
Alas, it didn't last.
I understand. It will need to come off the wall. I wouldn't be able to get help to get it off the wall till later.
Just considering if it might...

6 year old 50" Maxent Plasma
I can't get to the model number right now. Its too heavy for me to pull off the wall by myself and my wife can't help me. I can't find anything that resembles what this is doing so I'll just upload pictures. I have never been inside anything like this. I guess I really would like to know if it is worth calling someone who could fix it or if I should get a new one. This monitor has been connected to a media center PC since new. The power button is broke and we lost the remote so it stays on all the time. The computer stays on all the time too and allows the plasma to go blank after 10 minutes....
