This is my first post here; Looks like a great community.

Before we start, I have a basic electronics knowledge and wiring/soldering skills, but I'm not trained or educated in this.
Speak slowly and point just for safety! :p

The issue is with my Father's Octigen 19" widescreen, which is connected to his mac mini.
The mac sleeps at night.

I had a range of symptoms over a few weeks, so please bare with me.

Waking the mac from sleep would show pure white output on screen....
