I have a Visio Plasma 42 inch TV (P42HDTV10A). It works beautifully except it cuts itself off after a few minutes, sometimes less. I hear a small click and the green light goes to yellow standby. I can immediately turn the TV back on and it repeats itself.
I have already tried replacing the Power Supply, the Sub Power Supply and the Main Unit with no change. Would the Y and Z Sustain boards be causing this, if so which one would be the most likely candidate? If not the Y or Z, then what is your guess?
Thanks

Power off Problems with Visio P42HDTV10A

Re: VIZIO P42HDTV10A No picture, powers off after 10 seconds
Still have the same problem after replacing the Power Supply, the Sub Power Supply and the Main Unit. I have a Visio Plasma P42HDTV10A that turns on and works perfectly for a few minutes and then turns off. I can immediately turn it back on and it will stay on a few more minutes and then click off. I can continually repeat this. Any idea what board I should focus on next?

Re: VIZIO P42HDTV10A No picture, powers off after 10 seconds
Seanotron, I have the exact issue with my Visio (same model). Did you end up fixing the problem and if so, what board did you replace. I am a tinklier and can fix things by swapping boards, but I am not an electronics guy so I don't know what boards do what. If you did replace a board that fixed the problem, can you identify it from the pictures you posted with your fist post?
Thanks for your help....
