Thanks Caleb. I've got a multimeter, so I'll have a look at the transformers....

I have a Matsui MAT15L607 Flat Screen TV with the following problem:-
TV turns on, screen lights up for 2 seconds then goes blank, sound is OK.
Picture can be seen faintly when shining a light on the screen.

I am fairly certain that this is due to a faulty Inverter board. I have also found out that the most common failure is faulty high voltage capacitors.

My problem is that I cannot find a supplier for replacement capacitors.
The inverter board is a Vestel 17IPS01-2 and the components are -
C354 - 4.7 pF, 3000 volt capacitor;
C355...

I've joined this Forum because I am trying to repair a TV - I (think) I know what's faulty but I can't find the parts!
