Hi guys
Got this tv today and it doesn't turn on the backlight.
The voltages on the power supply are good and and I'm wondering what else can I look?
The voltages on the power supply are:
CN803
1-2 PWM_DIM = 13V
3-4 B13V = 13V
5-6 BLL_ON/OFF = 13V
7-8 VAMP = 13V
9-10 GND = 0V
11-12 A5V = 5.3V
13-14 POWER_ON/OFF = 5.3V
CN802 -> LED BACKLIGHT
1 D+ 0V
2 S- 170V
3 NC
4 S+ 170V
5 D- 170V
These voltages for the led backlight are...

Re: Thomson 26HS4246C

Thank you very much! Do you have service manual/schematic for this model?
budm,
Thank you very much! Nobody worked on this TV before. I disconected the board to look the voltage legends below the board and take photos, then I connected the board again without inserting correctly the connector but only to take photos again of the whole tv.
I checked the diode and using resistance check the diode gave me 0.002 and 0.004 in opposite direction. Then I checked the other diode on the same...

Thomson 26HS4246C
Hello all!
I have a THOMSON 26HS4246C that wont power on. No standby LED, nothing.
This TV have a separate 24V power supply that's working correctly.
Inside the TV I found a damaged diode with the reference AB which seems a (SILICON 28V HYPERABRUPT VARACTOR DIODE).
Could I use another replacement for this diode?
Any help is appreciated!...Last edited by pyrosster; 10-21-2014, 05:13 AM.

Re: OKITV32HDA with power supply FSP204-2F01
Hi budm,
If I disconnect the CN3 I get those 11.8V but If CN3 is connected the voltage goes down to 3.4V. This is normal?
On connector CN3 I get these voltages when is connected:
Pin01: 0V
Pin02: 0V
Pin03: 0V
Pin04: 3.4V
Pin05: 3.4V
Pin06: 3.4V
Pin07: 3.4V
Pin08: 0V
Pin09: 0V
Pin10: 0VLast edited by pyrosster; 02-17-2014, 06:25 AM.

OKITV32HDA with power supply FSP204-2F01
Hello all,
OKI TV 32" that wont power on.
The power supply have the reference FSP204-2F01 and it have 2 connectors, CN3 +12V and CN2 +24V
I replaced CS12, CS13, CS15, CS15, CS19 and CS20 bulged capacitors. Changing these made no difference to the TV and I still dont get +24V on the CN2 connector.
Any help is appreciated!...Last edited by pyrosster; 02-13-2014, 12:16 PM.

Re: LCD1502DVD 15" TV - No Power
tom66, how can I replace that part? Normal 0.56ohm 1/2W resistor is ok?

Re: LCD1502DVD 15" TV - No Power
It's very strange. The chassis have this sticker: Power input: 110V-240V 50/60Hz 48W
But the mainboard only have a 12V connector and the transformer sticker is 12V 5Amp.
The manufacturer changed the design?

Re: LCD1502DVD 15" TV - No Power
Thanks tom66 for your reply.
The device is original. It's a 15" TV with DVD player. So the fuse resistor could be changed with a 0.56 ohms 1/2W normal resistor?
The sticker on the PCB (250V/6A) is confusing because the power supply is 12V and the part AZ1084S2 is a low dropout linear regulator.
Thanks again.

LCD1502DVD 15" TV - No Power
Hello,
I am trying to troubleshoot a 15" TV that does not turn on, no sounds/relays, etc. dead.
I checked power supply and there's a broken "resistor fuse". (picture below) What's the value of this "resistor fuse"? 56 ohms? Can I change this with a normal resistor?
Power supply is 12V 5A.
Thanks for any opinion or insight...Last edited by pyrosster; 09-24-2013, 04:50 AM.

Re: PRIMA LCD 32" TV clicking on off
yes. yesterday I measured 13V DC and fluctuating +-0.3V DC. Today I'm measuring the same capacitor and dont give any reading, only 0.02V DC.
The clicking on and off is still happening.
