Re: DELL XPS L502X Core I7 Master Bios Password

I have the same laptop with the exact same faulty bios password issue Dell XPS L502X boots instantly to a password hint screen and won't go any further have you had any luck fixing this issue I tried calling Dell and they say that the motherboard is dead but I had no issues with this system at all until i removed my bios password and saved it blank than rebooted not this Password/Unlock Key screen is all i get. Any help will be appreciated thanks.

New to Badcaps but a Electronics/Computer geek from the 90's till today currently enrolled and almost completed 2yr associates degree in Computer Information Systems and did a 2yr program in electronics in the mid 90's found this site looking for a solution to being locked out of my Dell XPS L502x laptop due to faulty bios password and looking for a way to reset it with no luck.
