Re: Sanyo DP42848 2 second to black problem
so I guess if there are only 2 digits on ceramic capacitors then it is always in Picofarad? the 15J was what was hanging me up I didn't see the third multiplier digit and I knew the J was the tolerance.

Sanyo DP42848 2 second to black problem
I have a Sanyo DP42848 lcd tv that has the 2 seconds to black problem. I have taken the LCD screen out and found 2 of 18 tubes that have black spots on them which I will replace (ordered new ones) but I also have noticed that when I turn it on and the lights fire there is a buzzing from the right board where the lamps connect. upon closer inspection I located the position of the buzz along the board which runs vertically along the right side. There is a discolored cap at the approximate location of the noise. I cannot determine the value of this cap and am including a picture of the problem child....
