Re: 50PF7320A/37 Not turning on
Update:
So, I got my caps from digikey. Installed them saturday, and turned on TV. It is working great. It seems to take about 5 sec or so to get image and sound. I assume this is normal?
We are pretty excited with our new tv. though, the old 35" looks so small now...
We will need a stand for it since it does not come with one. Does anyone happen to have a stand that they are not using?
We will eventually build a stand for it. Don't want to mount it on the wall.
Thanks for everyone's...

Re: 50PF7320A/37 Not turning on
Thank you. I knew the uf meant, but am hazy on the others mf, pf. Little confusing. I picked up a capacitor tester and new caps from Digitek. I ordered 3 just in case, though only need 2.
can you test a cap on the board, or does it need to be taken off first?

Re: 50PF7320A/37 Not turning on
thank you for your response. That is helpful. I found what i need. But just out of curiosity, is the exact spec in the shop manual? It would be good to learn how to read wiring diags.

50PF7320A/37 Not turning on
We picked up a 50PF7320A/37 Philips plasma tv. Got it for free, so trying to fix it. Took off the back panel and found the classic 3300uf 10v caps with their tops bulged. So I was planning on replacing those. However, I can't seem to find the exact spec on those...
What tolerance do i need to purchase?
Here is the manual.
I had trouble finding the power supply wiring diagram. I am very rusty on electronics, but know basics.
I pulled the three fuses i found, and tested them. All were good.
Thanks.

Re: Philips Plasma 50PF7320/10 worth anything?
I am going to pick up some caps, but does anyone know what tolerance I need to get, and temp range? The original caps say 105c on them for temp. But is there low range?
thank you.

Re: 50" Philips 50pf7320a now power
So I can just unplug the various connectors, pull circuit board and perform operation?
Is there issue with capacitors that might be under load?
Thank you....

Re: 50" Philips 50pf7320a now power
I just picked up one of these too. I pulled back cover. I found the typical 3330uf Caps were slightly bulged at the top. Is there anything special that needs to be done prior to pulling the board? do caps need to be discharged prior?
I don't know that much about electronics, but can do soldering, and understand basics of circuits etc...

Re: Philips Plasma 50PF7320/10 worth anything?
Can anyone send me the shop manual for this? I tried the link, and the RAR file seems to be corrupt. Is there a place on the internet to download?
Thanks.
