Yah they are crappy GSC caps, I have a GA-7VRX, and 2 GA-7VT600-P-L with bad caps (all GSC). And people keep telling me Giga-byte fixed the problem...HAHA
I wish I knew about the cap issue before I bought my GA-7VAXP.

Adding new caps/mosfet question
I noticed that my motherboard has several empty cap holes on it and i was wondering what would happen if I filled them with caps, and of course what size caps to use. Specifically the ones arround the CPU socket. Here is a pic of my board.

Any ideas?
Also I heard older Giga-byte boards had bad power mosfets on them, any info on this, where to get new ones?

Giga-byte GA-7VRX
The motherboard was 19 months old when it went dead.
The board contains the following caps (I didn't include the really small ones).
2 - GSC 1200uf 6.3V 105C Y25A
11 - GSC 1000uf 6.3V 105C T27C
4 - OST 3300uf 6.3V 105C
The blown caps were the 2 GSC 1200uf and 1 GSC 1000uf caps. The only blown GSC 1000uf cap was the one right next to the other two blown caps. Someone else posted a picture.
