Hi folks.

I've got a Philips 50PF7320A/37, from 2005, and about three weeks ago it started having problems. The bottom left-hand corner gets a bit of a "white out" condition, depending on what else is on the screen. The upper left-hand corner has a little bit of a blue glow to it as well.

The bottom area of the screen also now seems prone to after-images for high-contrast or light areas. For example, my kids were watching a DVD of a teacher doing a math problem in front of a...

New member here. Started with computers back when my brother and I saved our money back in high school and bought an Apple ][ for $2k+ with 48K and two disk drives. That lead to college, and 20+ years of doing software for...well...hardware companies.

Been interested in electronics for a long time, and I've been trying to learn more on my own. Slowly working my way through Horowitz and Hill.
