Hi. I am a veteran audio specialist who has moved into computing / multimedia / av systems. Many a bad cap has wasted my time. Threw an Apple G4 in a bin after replacing loads of caps. Still more burned out. Oh for an diagnostic esr readout as part of p.o.s.t. / a.p.i.c. Easy to implement as current rise curves will show. -

Hi Badcaps. Keep coming here after all the trawling through the net. Joined at last and feeling relaxed and happy at my descision. Good forum. One of the best for techies like me. Been into electronics since a kid and make a fair living at it these days. Qualified installer / inspector too these days so any supply questions welcome. Cheers.
