HP G61 DA00P6MB6D0 no lcd backlight
Hi, This laptop came as broken lcd. I changed the lcd but there was no backlight. It is ok on external screen. What i have done so far is;
I changed the inverter
I changed the ENE controller
I changed the Lcd flex cable
Still no backlight. The measurements are below;
Inverter 4 pins as in standbye state
1- 18.7v
2- 14v
3- 0.17v
4- 15.7v
Inverter 4 pins as in powered state
1- 18.2v
2- 13.8v
3- 2.4v
4- 15.7v
Any advices please. Thanks -

Hi, HP G62-460ST DAAX1JMB8C0 REV:C is power on but shutting down after a second. i flashed EC and MAIN but the problem is same. When i check with the debug card it is shutting down when it checks CPU. I dont have the schema. Any advice is welcome. Thanks

Thanks for the reply, i tried both dimm slot with different rams, also i tried working bios from the same model. i flashed both the kbc and main bios.
all i got it gets 1A and stays there, Debug card shows DIMM error and the board has no +vgacore voltage. Any advices welcome thanks....Leave a comment:

Hello, this unit came as there was no picture on the screen. it takes 1A and stops there, also with debug card it shows DIMM as error. I replaced several rams but still shows DIMM error. Then i checked +vgacore and it was 0v.
19v comes to PU13 which is vgacore chip
5v comes to VDD and VDDP
0v comes to EN/DEM
Motherboard model is: DA0LX6MB6H1 Rev.H
Attach is the pdf schematic.
Any advices welcome. Thanks... -

Check PBTN_OUT# on pin 117 of KB926QFE0 on page 23. you should have 3v there if not first flash the bios with programmer and see what happens. If still nothing change KB926QFE0 with the new one.

definitely the problem is not in the protection circuit. If i short the legs PQ6 to PQ7 for 19v i get the corect values on all parts in the picture. So something differentmust be blocking 19v at the gates. i mentioned before when i turn on the power the voltage rises slowly upto 0.8v and after turn off the power drops slowly down to 0v. So i guess something and most probably a capacitor is faulty and gets charged slowly and de-charges slowly. What is your opinion?

just changed two fets and the situation is same. Someone pls can explain me the protection circuit at page 48 in the chematics. why 0.2v at the gates of PQ6 and PQ7? i checked all components removed resistors and measured them. Changed 2 times of PU1 charging circuit. Changed fets of PU1, changed PQ6 and PQ7. even flashed both roms. there is nothing shorted on the board i am sure because if i apply 19v to the output of PQ7 board works perfect.
