update... Went ahead and replaced the main board in the 63" and that was the problem... I was going to do a firmware update but there is none for the 63", so I guess it should be ok.

Well... I went ahead and ordered a main board for the 51" and that was the problem
!!! I can only hope the same for my 63"

I will start with the 63" Model#PN63B590T5FXZA.
It will try to power up but turns right back off.. all on its own and will keep doing this cycle its about every 3 sec. cycle
I do have a power board on the way (fingers crossed) but surely not that easy!!!
I have looked have not seen anything wrong on any of the boards. just looked again and the screen does light up then right back off, the TV was on when the lightning struck outside... Thanks again for any input!!

Hello,
About a week ago lightning struck a tree very close to house and took out both my 63" and the 51" ....the 63 cycles on off on off on off very quickly, while the 51 does nothing, the screen does light up when plug in but goes black. Have ordered replacement power boards for both hoping that's all I need...."yeah right" figured it was a good start. Any other ideas would be much appreciated.
