Hello Gents. First off I wanted to thank all of you for the great information on this subject. I had the very same problem with my TV and was hoping it wasn't the LCD panel that was bad. Following what I found in this forum I was able to fix my TV with no issues. And I only had 1 extra screw left over when I was done. I had one outer tab and one in the middle that were the problems. I found that the way mine were fixed was to prop something up under the tabs so they made better contact with the metal frame to dissipate the heat....
