Tuner problem resolved!

Got a new main board today and it solved the full screen tuner flicker problem. Now I have to solve the intermittent vertical line issue.
I'd guess it's the tcon board or maybe the UB1 board.


Board replaced, Vertical Lines on TV, but the tuner works.

Well my guess is pretty much wrong now.
but I've narrowed down the symptoms a little more.

I removed the tuner board, ribbon and connector, still had the flickering problem.
Analog was black,which was expected.
Re-installed the tuner board.

Powered on the tv, quick flicker, attached the antenna, the flicker slows, goes mostly green/black/pink, dimmer. I notice this a little in my first video when I have no signal, the flickering gets more intense. So I tuned in a channel, flickering slowed,...

Was brought a KDL-52XBR4 yesterday and have been tracking down some problems. It's been touched by someone else as well, not really reassembled very well.

I'm down to a question about either the main board or the tuner board.
I am having a problem with DTV video which can be seen in the video below.
Also included some fix history below, but for the TLDR people:

All inputs work, getting full screen single color flashes when trying to use the HD/DTV side of the tuner.

SD/Analog produces static as expected, no problem. All other inputs work...

I had, until I left it on the test pattern overnight and then came into find nothing on the screen in the morning. Now the psu isn't putting out good voltages.

So even if I had a mainboard replaced or repaired, the tv likely would have died out in use soon after, maybe taking other components with it.

I'll update as I work on it, I ordered caps yesterday, they haven't shown up so far today.

Left the tv on overnight running the test patterns. Not really sure if that's an ok thing to do. Came in to see nothing on the screen, PSU barley putting out any voltage. Going to replace all of the psu caps, see where I get with that and go from there.

I have a samsung plasma a co-worker brought in to me after finding out I've fixed a few other TV's. He was going to throw it out otherwise so I figured why not have a look.
He said it made a quick hiss/buzz when it went out.
At this point I think I have the problem board isolated but I want to confirm before buying any parts.

The tv when plugged in would turn itself on.
When powered up, there were tons of lines and artifacts over most of the screen. More on the top of the screen, some of it would come and go, but never went away. Mixed colors.

I made similar repair to a sammy found at the garbage.
It would not turn on , only clitck.
Found blown up reg/fets mentioned above inside. Totally blown apart.
Did the suggested repair from preher-tv and above.

Tv would now turn on but after ~5-10mins , it started clicking on and off by itself.

I tried to get the 1000 and 470 caps, to replace them all, but shop only had the 1000's on hand, I replaced all of them and tried again, it's been working for a few days now without...
