hi mate, the cap is the one marked in the picture attached. If I hook mine to an input source it will scan and autocomute on that particular input and sound will come through, however limited interaction with the remote is observed. I cannot do anything else than power on/power off. As soon as I finish setting a more suitable workshop than the floor of my living room I'll continue investigation. If you can tell me the value of the capacitor it will be great, very much appreciated.

@jimbofz I've got same problem on a different TV set, Toshiba, same Vestel integrated tcon sh@t. I found one cap straight connected to 6935 which was shorted, replacing it didn't made any difference. problem is, there is no way to find values for them as there is no markings on. Actually somebody suggested the problem might be on the actual logic board as, at least in my case, the interaction with the remote is limited. basically I can get only power on/power off response. yes correct, removing the bad cap shortcut was gone, installed a new one but not having a clue about the value, just put a generic 10uF/50V nonpolarised.Leave a comment:

tomorrow I'll move my "workshop" from living room to garage for more space and peace of mind. I'll investigate more about possible causes.

Okay, replaced the cap with new one, still no joy. Problem is no capacitors does have any inscriptions on them so I just replaced it with a 10uF/50V non polarised cap.
Vone = 0

Hi everybody,
As per title says, I have an Toshiba D-LED TV set 49U5863DB made on Vestel backbone: 17MB130S motherboard, 17IPS72 power supply and VES490QNDS-2D-U12 chassis which has backlight but no image is displayed. Even so if is hooked up to a input source, sound coming up okay, picture still missing regardless the input source. There is a bit of remote interaction as you can turn on and off but that's pretty much it, there is no control on volume. hi everybody. it's my first post so please be gentle . i have a samsung 42" plasma tv model number ps42a456p2d stuck in standby. the power supply is a BN44-00204A DYP-42W3 very similar (if not identical) with the power supply above. i checked the low voltages, only PS_ON and STS_5V are present (3.3 and 5.01V). I did some capacitor replacements but without any luck so far. what can i do next? some help will be much appreciated. thanks
