I will get into the TV as soon as I can find time and get back to you. Thank you for your reply.

Re: TV sometimes doesn't power on.
You are correct, my level of understanding is minimal when it comes to television electronics. I am not sure what the problem is with the TV and this forum helped me in the past. Since I had a positive experience in the past, I thought I could try again. I thought maybe the problem could be fixed by a novice like myself.

Re: TV sometimes doesn't power on.
Where are the capacitors located? Could I buy new capacitors?
There is an Amber light that flashes inside the back of the TV. The standby light does not blink. Just stays a solid Red.Last edited by Sross002; 03-18-2019, 07:36 PM.

Re: TV sometimes doesn't power on.
The standby light stays as a solid red. I do hear the relays click and I see an orange light flick on in the rear of the TV when I hear the relays click, when plugging the TV in. If I leave the TV unplugged overnight, I will get it to start the next day.

TV sometimes doesn’t power on.
Hello, I have a Hitachi 42 inch plasmas, model number: HD42S69. The TV sometimes doesn't power on. I have been unplugging it from the wall outlet for long period's of time. After letting the TV sit unplugged, I plug it back in and it works. I don't know what the problem could be or what this issue is an indicator for. Can someone suggest a fix for this problem and explain to me what is going on with it?
Thanks,
Steve R

There are no cracks and they occurred at separate times.

Samsung (version NY02)
I am having an issue with my Samsung that shows a white vertical line on the right and a black horizontal line on the top (see attached picture). The model is: PN50C450B1DXZA and the version is: NY02. Can someone direct me in the right direction to fix it?...

Re: Vertical Red Line appears on Hitachi Plasma HD42S69
I'm sorry, but I found a small connection that came out that needed to be put back in. Seems fine now. Thanks again for your quick reply.Last edited by Sross002; 11-16-2013, 12:46 PM.

Re: Vertical Red Line appears on Hitachi Plasma HD42S69
I was able to locate the part. I can poke it and the red line goes away or flickers. I got the part number as well. But shop jimmy.com is calling it a a-bus r board, not a x buffer board.Re: Vertical Red Line appears on Hitachi Plasma HD42S69
