Hey guys, got an update. Finally opened up the TV. I just now got down to the display panel and found what looks to be a fried set of transistors at the bottom left most side, the same side of the TV I am getting distortion. Here are a few pics to show the fried strip compared to a good strip. I am assuming at this point the TV is pretty much done at this point as I will most likely need a new display panel but I am hoping someone can give me some good news that won't cost too much. Hey all, new to TV technical issues so I hope someone here can help narrow down the issue. A few nights ago my TV screen started going on the fritz. I have had the TV for about 2 years, has been pretty reliable so far. Its a Vizio , i know it's not the greatest brand in the world but I'm really happy with it so I am willing to invest a little bit of money if I need to. From the brief bit of research I did, I am suspecting a T-con board or ribbon issue. I have not opened the TV up to check the capacitors or anything yet, I will probably do that this weekend when i have more free time. Here is a...
