I read the sticky, and this doesn't seem to be the description of my issue. I suspect the power circuit may be an issue for me, but I do not know which piece could cause a problem like this....

I bought a Planar PX2611W in 2009, and have used it since that time.

Recently, I started noticing a strange artifacting problem, where it seemed like the blue in the monitor developed a little bit of static, which would gradually get worse until either the monitor went black for a second and reset, or I reset the resolution.

A few days ago, the monitor went black suddenly, and the power and menu buttons became unresponsive. I found that the only way to bring the image back was to hard reset the power. This brings back a perfect image, however it only...
