Re: Via C3m266
Heh well good luck at it. At least you have it working partially. I am surprised you have not gone up to an A64 yet though....

Re: Gigabyte GA-7ZXE, GA-7VAXP
Hey MD. So when you aren't modding the AMD forums I see you are here, or the lottery forums. Well hope you are doing well....

Re: Gigabyte GA-7ZXE, GA-7VAXP
Kind of weird how it works but Visa will double the manufacturers warranty (up to 1 year extra). Basically what has to be done is send them the statement, copy of receipt, and a letter saying its defective. Once they receive this they will allow you to buy a replacement part, it could be greater than your original purchase price, but you will only be paid for the original purchase price....

Re: Gigabyte GA-7ZXE, GA-7VAXP
That person he is talking about is me.
See here http://forums.amd.com/index.php?showtopic=64285
Anyways I did indeed have a Gigabyte 7VAXP Ultra die on me. However looking at the capacitors I see no damage, no bulging, no leaks etc. Seems to me the board just up and died. Though I am out of the Gigabyte warranty I am dealing with VIsa on it. The visa money will go towards a new computer, but instead of replacing my capacitors on the motherboard i am just going to spend ~$34 for an ECS Kt600...
