Re: Toshiba A505-S6980 Data Sheet Needed
Thank you guys for that datasheet. Is there a source that you use to find such datasheets? I have had trouble finding anything useful for most of the boards i have.

Toshiba A505-S6980 Data Sheet Needed
Im looking to replace a burnt out chip on this board "hannstar j mv-4 94v-0 0938" the chip is labeled U29 on the board and the label on the chip is "FPKHBV" however the labeling suggests that the F and B are special characters. Below that is another label, burn mark covering the middle of what looks like "AC14" I have a picture attached.
I was trying to test the voltages on this board because there was no power going to the power switch so i was searching for the bad component and accidentally shorted a 19v source over to the 3.3v

LG 32" LCD 32LX1D PSU Transformers
I am working on several TV's that have similar issues to this one so my question is more general across all TV's. The transformers on this power supply "6871TPT3038" (Image Below) are chirping in a way that sounds similar to the idle of an 2 cylinder engine when plugged in and the TV is turned on. I have a video here trying to show the PSU and the sounds coming from the transformers.

The sound is worse when the LCD TV is on, louder would be more precise....Last edited by JaredTS486; 07-01-2013, 02:31 PM.

Re: Sanyo DP42848 Dead
Working on a TV with a very identical issue. For me the power would stay on but the back-light was turning off after a couple seconds. The problem got worse as there was a buzzing sound coming from the sides of the TV. The inverter boards apon moving them seemed to alter the buzzing sounds so i played around with them. After a few more turn ons the right back-light quit followed by the left. Now the back-light will not come on. Im assuming the actual bulbs may have burnt out but this seems unlikely. I have found nothing wrong with the boards aside from a cap...

Re: Sony KDL-32L4000
I have a similar issue and hope this helps anyone else who has an issue.
I HAVE YET TO FIX THIS ISSUE.
I have had the luxury of having two identical TV's and have replaced every component and tried many combinations of boards from each one to see what happens. I have also added the heat sync pads to the circuits on the flexible ribbon cable and have used a freezer can on the long board between the T-CON and the LCD. (Sorry i do not know what everything is called.) There are no changes to the issue so I am assuming the problem is...
