Thanks i really appreciate all your hard work on this, i know theres people selling $80 kits for the repair in ebay, but i really appreciate you taking the time to figure out and share what was wrong with your board, ill report back once i get some new parts in!...

Interesting, i figure ill just replace all the stuff you replaced since i have it out! Do you by chance have a mouser.com list of the stuff you ordered? will the part numbers you posted earlier be similar and work on mouser? Thanks...Leave a comment:

Alright, found some time to get back into this project for my brothers tv!
So from what i found not all the transistors were shorted. As shown in the photo. Looks like the transistor on the left of the photo with the question mark (q661?) is only shorted from emitter to collector, was yours this way?
And the others in green are not shorted on any of the pins.
Also im not to sure how to check the other components correctly?

Appreciate all your work guys, im going through my board right now, it died couple weeks ago! And there are no boards in the US. so gotta fix it myself i guess
Did you have a more updated parts list of all the stuff you replaced/checked?

Dang i got a bad TNPA5081 board on my tc-p50g25, just from a couple tests most of the fets you listed are toast. What a pain in the butt, appricate all your hard work and for sharing it, ill prob start on my rebuild X-0Leave a comment:
