I was looking for loose ribbon first thing I opened cover. Can't find one.
Bad LCD should have sound.
That make either blown fuse on t-con panel (where is fuse?) or bad LCD panel voltages.
Tom, do you think change PSU board ($45 on ebay) can fix the problem?...Leave a comment:

I got a couple of pictures to show you. TV change from number one picture
to number 3 piture in a couple of seconds. It stays in picture 3. But vertical line shift right to left and then shift back to the right step by step.
Please help me. I have the back cover opened. I can show you the pictures later.... -

I have Haier 32” LCD TV can only shows backlight but no video. I did google search. It looks like very common problem.

My model number is L32B1120a. It is little bit off on the model but I guess it is the same problem. I'd be glad to hear your expert opinion about possible fix to this TV.
I have opened back cover. I don't see any visible bad caps.
Lots of these TV went bad when they just been bought for a couple of days. It must be some kind... -

Smoke did not kill the power board. This morning I put hair dryer on low heat and aimed at up right corner of the board. It has been running ever since.

I re-soldering lots of (but not all of ) solder points. Still do the same.
I found out something you guys may help me out to understand.
Hot air works! Cold air don't. Hot air blow can make tv works more than 15 minutes. I put a small ceramic heater behind TV instead of heat gun I used. TV last more than 30 minutes before it shut off. Then I tried to push ceramic heater little closer immediately some noise sound came out of back plus some smoke. Now I think power board are...Leave a comment:
