Hi All,
I posted a thread in June regarding the problem I had with my plasma TV, and have some new symptom need some advise. Basically, it went wrong last June with the first three pictures. Then I replaced Y-drive boards (both up and bottom), Y-sus and Z-sus (purchased used parts from ebay). Now the symtom is kind of different (pictures 4 to 6). Any ideas what else could go wrong or the parts I got from ebay is defective? Thanks!

Hi All,
After a while, I decided to replace all y drive, y-sus and z-sus boards, got a good deal from ebay. However, after the boards are all replaced, the problem is not resolved. The symtom looks different now. I posted some pictures with the replacement boards installed. Any ideas whatelse could be wrong? Thanks!

I loaded more pictures for this drive board and want to make sure this is the one you refered. Curious to ask, how did you find the IC component from top right area was burned, it seemed fine to me. Can you give some comments in more details? Thanks a lot!

Samsung 244T monitor won't turn on
Hello,
I have a samsung 244T monitor, which was not turned on recently. What I did is replace some bulked capactors on power board, no change. It still not powering up, no light, etc. So, I purchased a used power board from ebay and replace it. Still, no change. Can anyone give some advise if the drive board on my monitor goes wrong? Or is there any easy way to identify if the drive board is working or not? This is a good monitor, so I want to spend some time to check if it can be fixed or not.

TV is Zenith Z50PX2D 50-Inch Plasma. By the way, how to check the EAX/EBR number?

Any place to buy the cheap YSUS replacement board for Plasma TV?
My current 720P plasma TV from Zenith/LG got some problems, won't show pictures, kind of dard screen or funny images. Audio and tuner are all working fine. So I guess the y-sus board needs to be replaced. Considering this is a used 720P TV, I will probably won't change it if the price for Y-SUS is over $100. Can any one give some advise where I can find the relatively cheap Y-SUS board? I don't mind if it is a used one, as long as it is working.

Is there an easy way to measure the valtages you are referring here? Just use valtage meter or something?
Also, is the fuse showing in picture 3 the one you are mentioning? How to test it? Sorry for my dumb questions, I'm not that good in electric repairs....Leave a comment:

My Samsung 244T monitor won't turn on at all. No light blinking after pressing the power button (the main switch was turned on at the back). I opened the case, noticed those capacitors with 1000uF 35V were rounded, so I get them all replaced including the 1000uF 25V one. But still no luck, still no light. I attached some pictures I took with those new capacitors I just replaced. Can any one advise what others which can be the highest failure rate I should look at?

My 244T won't turn on at all. The main switch at the back is on, however, when try to turn on the power at the front, no light at all. I opened the case and found those 3 capacitors with 1000uf 35v are rounded, so I changed all of them, but has no luck. Still the same sympton, no light at all.
