    Here are some pics.
I see the power supply is set up in tandom for inverters.
When it was dark this morning I powered up the set and
saw the right side back light try to fire for a half second.
I then swapped the power feeds to see if the left would try to
fire as well. It didn't. I swapped them back and right fired again.
Wouldn't that mean the left ccfl was bad and shutting down the
    power supply?
    Thanks
    TJV

I have 2 main boards. I just plugged an hdmi cable in and got sound.
I know the the tv was used on hdmi1 and I plugged in a cable off my laptop and got sound. I am not getting any backlighting.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Vizio E421VA Need help

I got this TV from a neighbor. It was manufactured in 2011. I have replaced the power supply. The original had 2 burnt resistors. It now has power at the 24 volt ,12 volt and 5 volt pins. The Vizio badge lights when I plug the power cord in. The badge goes to bright white when I turn on the power button. I am not getting anything on the screen or sound.
I would like to know what route I need to take to diagnose this. I have a multimeter and have changed a few caps on another old vizio with success.
    Thanks
    In advance
