I was given a faulty plasma Panasonic that had been unused for 5 years.
The model is MC127F19T12A
Power board is ETX2MM747AF
The board receive 120v ac, but doesn't seem to output any DC at all.
Tv symptom are, no image, no led/light, if I plug it there's is no light at all and pushing power button does nothing.
I was unable to find a service manual or the datasheet of this board.
Thanks for any help!

Re: plasma hdtv issue (sanyo avp4232) (samsung board?) no images
All fuse are okay.
I am pretty sure the issue is the blue capacitor. But my main question is, what caused it to break? If I change it, will it break right away? Should I replace the entire supply board? Where could I get one?

plasma hdtv issue (sanyo avp4232) (samsung board?) no images
Hello Badcaps!
I have a problem with my tv, and I was hoping one of you could help me.
The tv is a sanyo avp4232, but it seem to have samsung parts in it.
The tv, when plugged, has a red idle led. It turn on and stay on. When I turn the power on, the red led turn off and the blue led turn on (as expected) but there is no picture (not even a backlight)
I found a part that might be the problem. What is this part? I can use a soldering iron to change it if needed, but I don't have the knowledge to know what it is exactly. I think it is a ceramic...Last edited by xoxid; 12-11-2013, 08:28 PM.

Re: 42inch plasma tv turn on/off automatically (generic brand? : Fluid)
Hey Tom66
I have some good news for you. A friend who had the exact same tv in the usa will be sending me the side button panel from his tv(A santa claus landed in his screen, ruining it, long story).
As soon as I receive it, I will have to open the tv again, so I will take your picture ;-)
Can you tell me aproximately what I am looking for?

If you really need the photo, let me know. For you, I will re-open it ;-) You will just have to show me where the sticker is.

Re: 42inch plasma tv turn on/off automatically (generic brand? : Fluid)
Thanks, I did not know about such deal before.
At first, I tough.. Tom is crazy, the button doesn't seem to be stuck.
But then I gave it a go. After 5 minutes of removing the glue over the plug of the side button, I managed to disconnect the assembly.
I digged deep into my box to find the remote control (Never used it, as the tv was used as a computer monitor)
And then I turned it on.. and it's still on!
You are a genius, and you just saved me the price...

Re: 42inch plasma tv turn on/off automatically (generic brand? : Fluid)
I have removed every metal part to check the electronic that was hidden. I see no damaged caps.
The tv have sound when it reach a source (most time, it is not on long enough to reach a source)
That problem is really odd..

42inch plasma tv turn on/off automatically (generic brand? : Fluid)
Hello! And thanks you for clicking on my thread
My Tv, today, started to turn on/off on it's own for some odd reason.
What I know so far:
I plug it, it turn on(automatically), wait a few secondes, turn off(automatically). 2 secondes later, it repeat. Turn on, off, on, off, .....
When it turn on, I can change the source if I am quick enough. It is currently set on TV(cable), was on HDMI when the issue started
I checked most caps. They look fine, but I don't know how to check them more deeply.
The tv brand is FLUID. Inside the TV, I...Last edited by xoxid; 05-23-2013, 04:13 PM.
