Re: Toshiba 40L220U 40" LCD TV screen image goes away



Well I bought it used, so didn't even think about the warranty, I'll check into that....

Tried to do a search for these problems in the forum but couldn't find anything.

Bought this TV about six months ago and here are the symptoms I'm experiencing:

- The TV turns on and will work great for a random period of time, could be 45 minutes or 1 1/2 hours, then the display with go black.
- I'll shut the TV off and then immediately back on and the Toshiba logo might flash for a second, then the display goes dark again.
- If I look closely though I can see the TV image it's just very dark, almost like no backlight
- I can shut the TV off...
