Samsung UN46B7000 LED TV, no picture.
Hey guys, I have a Samsung UN46B7000 LED Tv. Powers on, audio works but no image. I can see the backlighting on the display but no image comes on. I narrow it down to the T Con board (BN81-02358A). toshiba 42hp66 plasma
hello guys, I have an toshiba 42inch plasma TV. Symptoms are the famous pop of death, tv turns on, no picture but sounds work.
I have narrowed the issue down to the YSUS(6871QYH053B) board because of an open fuse. Caps check ok(ESR meter), transistors check ok. I have believe the problem lies in the STK IC (4921QP1050B). Now I understand there is a design flaw in many STK IC's. My question is; does anyone know a cross reference for this STK IC, particularly an updated part? Or can I just go ahead and order the same model STK IC.

Anyone have experience repairing camcorders?
I have several minidv's camcorders, ranging from a non working firewire port to the tape deck not closing. Does anyone have any experience on how to approach issues like this?
Or does anyone know where I can get parts from? The camcorders are Sony HDR-HC3 and a Canon HV20

I would sometimes get Toshiba laptops with a mysterious BIOS password preventing the machine to boot up. Solution to this would be resetting the BIOS by shorting out JOPEN located by the ram area.Leave a comment:

Vertical lines on Sony KDL-26L5000 LCDTV
Hi, I have a Sony KDL-26L5000 LCD TV. It appears to be showing these vertical lines throughout the top of the screen. I have checked for bad caps and even ran jscreenfix for about 3 hours, and these lines still appear. They appear on every input devices (HDMI 1-3, All Composite and Component inputs).
I have narrowed it down that it might be the panel, but is there anything else I can check for to make sure or is there anyway to repair this?

The audio is cleaner then before. There use to be clipping coming from the speakers at high volume before, and now its completely gone. I have the amp powering 2 Yamaha bookshelf speakers.
Nope, National didn't charge me anything for the samples. I believe as long you have a business email (something not @yahoo/gmail etc), then National would even ship it for free....Leave a comment:

Common capacitors values?
Hi, I'm thinking about stocking up on capacitors to have around. Recently I been recapping about 4 motherboards a week along with several tv's. I hate ordering and waiting for the caps to come in, I rather have a stock of common capacitors values for quick access when I need them. (electrolytes)
So, What are some common values that you usually find on motherboards and television sets?
