x output has narrow positive going pulses
y have more complex pulses but they both only last for around half a sec

Have the following 50" BUSH (Re-branded Samsung) BPDP50FHD
made in march 2010.
Initial fault was Stuck in stand by, Turns on for 2 secs then would shut down
This was traced to 3 shorted 30F02 transistors on the X-Main board - replaced
Now the TV powers up - power led stays green and does not shut down.
Theres a flicker on the panel on first power up with a screen full of sparklies on a dark background.
This all disappears with in 2 seconds leaving a dark screen.
Va, Vsc & Vs all seem ok & jump to a value close to there expected...Last edited by elviramjw; 06-09-2015, 01:54 PM. -

Picked up this TV for a tenna
Has vertical lines on the displayed message box "Check signal cable"
this image does move around (screen saver) and the lines are not same ones once its moved
Suspecting the LVDS or Main AV can anyone confirm this for me
picture screen002 should have been rotated 90°

42" LG 42PC56 Plasma with Reg Green Sparklies
advise sought for following problem
I have this LG plasma with red green blue sparklies. 42PC56-zd.aecylmp
Panel number is PDP42x40523
I have adjusted Va and Vs 60v & 193 (with DMM checked against calibrated DVM) all other voltages seem fine, no bulging caps on any boards.
could not make them disappear with these adjustments.
I'll upload photos soon if needed of picture and chassis.
I have read an artical indicating fet's are the most likely cause

Fixed....
did a bit of googeling after your eeprom comments, procedure was as follows
1. powered up tv and removed eeprom (on socket) as quick as i could, then waited 30 sec.
2. reinserted eeprom (this was the old one) whilst powered up then waited 30 secs.
3. powered down, then up. every thing was OK
did'nt even have to go into service menu to reset av inputs
