Re: Soldering Station
There are transformers like this
which cost about 12-13 $
and like this:
which cost about 25 $, both rated at 100w
What's the difference between those two?...

Soldering Station
Hello,
I am thinking of buying the Hakko FX888 soldering station http://www.hakko.com/english/products/hakko_fx888.html
What is your opinion about it?
The problem is that the one I found requires input voltage of 110V, but I am in Europe and the input voltage is 220V...
If I buy a transformer will it be fine?https://Hello,<br /> I am thinking ...he one I found

Re: Inverter or Backlight?
I wouldn't say that the cable came loose... I opened it and checked it.

Inverter or Backlight?
Hello,
a friend of mine dropped his laptop and he has a problem with the screen. It appears to function normally except that it's very very dark...
I tried the tv-out and it functions properly, so the problem is either the inverter or the Backlight.
Since I do not have a spare Backlight to test it, is there any other way to find
which of the two malfunctions?
Thank you
