  • Re: Samsung Syncmaster T240 Super Dim Backlight

I tested at the CN2, All readings were normal. Nothing was out of the ordinary. When is the next step in testing to find out what needs to be changed?

When you mean hooked all up, I assume you mean run power through it, correct? I understand the rest of what you saying, and I will give it a try. Thanks for the reply and I will post the results.

    Thanks for the quick response!

I figured it must have been something like that. I just acquired this monitor and will give it quick message to see if it changes. Can this damage the life of the monitor by chance?...

    Dell 2405FPw Smudge Mark

    Hello!
I am very new to this forum. I posted in new members section & I did some searching regarding the question I have. However, I could not find anything specific to the issue at hand.

The Dell 2405 FPW has a smudge mark on it, shown below. It looks like a horizontal "J" between the Apple Logo & Spinning Gear. I think it is from someone cleaning the surface too roughly. Can anyone validate this is the issue or is it something deeper? I feel the experts on this forum can quickly diagnose my issue.

P.S. what brought me here is my Samsung...

  • Re: New Members - please post your introductions here

    Hello to All!
I am brand new to this forum and very stoked to join. I stumbled upon this forum because I have a Samsung SyncMaster T240 that needs repair. Reading a few posts I could tell I was in the right place. I have a lot to learn and I am excited to tear it down.

Thank you for the previous and new posts. I appreciate the advice and help,

    Chris K.
