  • Re: Emerson LC401EM2F Blows fuse

Ok, after some more testing I found the 3 MPR resistors have no resistance. Has anyone heard of these shorting out? I would think if they failed it would be a open circuit. Maybe I am testing them wrong but on the 200 ohm setting I get .001.

  • Emerson LC401EM2F Blows fuse

Hello all. New to the forum and looking for some help. I have a similar problem with the power supply blowing the 8A fuse. I have been through several threads on this power supply but it seems I have a different problem. Found the blown fuse and checked several of the diodes and found one shorted through. The diode that I replaced is the one circled in red. Now after reading a couple of threads I check the diode D1208 but it tested good. Now I did find a service bulletin that said if this diode is found bad you should just remove it. So just by chance I removed it, the spot is circled in Green....
