Has anyone had any joy silencing these supplies?

I don't know if they buzz from new but glue on almost every through hole component do not ooze any confidence.

If i put a wooden chopstick like stick on C806 (picture 4) the buzzing gets noticeably louder without having to put your ear on the stick.

Now i don't have any schematics or do i know enough about PSU design to work out what value it should be so i changed all the through hole diodes and the standby cap but not the 2 little caps on the left side of picture 3 and the buzzing continues.

I have a Small Signal Board from a Samsung LE46F86 and i want to change the 10v 1000uf SMD caps but i cannot find a datasheet.

Looking on the Sam Young site at another Solid Polymer datasheet (which i have attached) shows me that 79 is the Lot number and AK is the series but i cant find any info, even on the discontinued products sheet.

So can anybody recommend a series to use, with all my through hole work i have always used Pannys so would like to stay with them if possible.

The missing cap is C925 which would be on the far right of the pic inbetween the lytic and the blue CCFL connector. I was wondering if it had been accidentely left out but a search on various parts sites and ebay all show it missing.

I was going to replace them and the transformer and see where that took me.

Would testing for leakage resistance be done with the component out of circuit?

Vestel 17IPS16-3 PSU

I am trying to identifiy the values of the following 2 ceramic capacitors, the markings are as follows

C924 = SL 2.2C 3KV (printed over 3 lines)
C921 = SL 24K 3KV (printed over 3 lines)

Now 3KV is obvious but i'm not 100% sure about the 2.2C and 24K, are they 2.2pF and 24pF

and just to confuse things the schematics say 5n for each component which i'm guessing is 5nF

Pedro i too have a 710N with what seems to be the same problem.

Pressing power button without the monitor cable plugged in i get the "Check Signal Cable" dialog, when pressing the power button with the cable plugged in i get the green light for about 3 seconds and then the monitor switches off but before it switches off i can get the "test good" dialog by hitting MENU.

Caps on the logic board were tested with a Blue ESR meter and these are the results, now they...
