Celcus LED47127FHDCNTD. Dim power light and does not power up.
Hello friends, please I need help on a Celcus LED tv with model number LED47127FHDCNTD.When plugged to mains, the power indicator light switches on but not as bright as it used to and the tv refuses to power up. The fault occurred after a lightening. I have tested most of the major components in the power board but all seems ok. Can any one please tell me what to do next? -

I think it is, there are three green LEDs and there are lighting up. -

I don't know but the only board that has LEDs on it is the same that has the video inputs on it and the photo is shown below. The LEDs are lighting up and can be seen inside the wire loop. The -vy and vsc voltages are still the same....Last edited by reality; 12-24-2013, 04:42 PM.Leave a comment:

I isolated the connectors! I also removed the screws used to connect it to the y-sus. Could that be the problem?Leave a comment:

I don't know what has gone wrong. I removed each buffers one after the other as i did before but this time , there was no display on the screen anymore as it was when i first did it. I even repeated it to be sure but nothing displayed anymore.Leave a comment:

I have disconnected both the top and bottom buffers one after the other and the results are as follows;
With top disconnected: screen displays some colored horizontal lines at the top
part of the screen which almost make up some raster
and later began to reduce gradually

Yes, the vsc is negative with buffer in. As for the Vzbias, my meter reads 165v exactly and that is what is indicated in the Label. I do not have an oscilloscope presently.Leave a comment:

Please I am very sorry Tom, i did not read the voltages properly, placed the leads on the wrong points.
Here are the right readings;
Meter Readings: vsc= -114.5v, -vy=-69.5v

Plasma panel board board indicates Va=65v, Vs=188 while my meter reads Va=67v, Vs=190v. All heat sinks in both the Z-sustain and Y-sustain boards are warm few minutes of operation.Leave a comment:

Hello everyone, there is a Lg LCD 42PX4RV-TA i am working on, it powers up and produces sound when connected to cable but the screen is black, no picture or even backlight. Can anyone please help? -
Sony HCD-GRX800 Switches off within seconds after it is switched on
Please help, Sony HCD-GRX800, when plugged to mains, switches on and switches off again. I have tested the power section and the STK amplifiers if there is any short circuit that is preventing it to sustain power but there all seems okay. Can any one please tell me what else to do?
I will appreciate suggestion from any experienced member.
