On a quick side note, I found a 54" Panasonic VT25. Would the components of that TV be able to be used to fix the Vizio?

Okay, I checked all the fuses. There was one blown fuse on the Zsus board.

Vizio P42 No screen
I recently was given a Vizio P42HDTV10A from a friend, because it doesn't provide video any more. According to him, there was a loud pop, and then the screen went blank. From the research I've done, it would seem that either the Ysus board or the Zsus board (or both) are not working; it also seems to be a fairly common problem with this TV. The cost of replacing either board is considerably more than I would like to spend repairing the TV. I have to imagine though, that the entire board wouldn't have to be replaced. If it's simply a part on the board that I could remove, and solder a new one on,...
