• Re: Technisson Lc-32IEF4

Bad news... TV is bad again. When im connecting the power cable the led is red and turns to orange, no blinking. Cannot power on with remote controller or power button. Any idea?

Found this forum since its similar to viewpia, but it cant help since there are no C905 or 908 caps

Well, great news: I did it, its working now! Unsoldered the wire, checked and strengthened the soldering on the 14 pin connector and the 4 caps. I think I did a great job!

Thank you again for the advice! ...

Well, thank you for your reply, much appreciated!

I was just wondering, how could this TV work with that wire + careless soldering. Since I've never seen anything like this + I was unable to find any logic behind it I wasn't brave enogh to touch it. (Maybe someone was a genius or just a fool, can't decide ).

On the other hand, this is the first TV ever ever opened. However it is similar to computer displays, still a bit different. Could you tell me how can I check voltages? I have a really basic multimeter, not sure if...

• Technisson Lc-32IEF4

I got a Technisson Lc-32IEF4 s/n: 72s00602693 LCD TV from a friend, he told me its not working, not even powering on. He told me that he used it for 2 months and suddelny it just not powering on.

After the disassembly I've found something that I dont understand, take a look at the pictures. Do you have any idea what is that wire soldered on the board?

By the way, I'm sure somebody was already disassembled this TV because there were different screws in the case, some of the screws are missing too and some of the cable tapes are loosed or removed....

• Syncmaster 2443 NW problem + video!

Hi all! I've got a Syncmaster 2443 NW which first had some buzzing noise then it is acting like you see on the video. You have any idea where can be the problem? Also attaching two photos of the power supply and the logic board. I cant see any bulky capacitors.

• Re: Fujitsu L19W-2 Vertical rainbow lines.

Im attaching a modified picture in this comment.
I've turned on the display and tryed to pry a bit the lvds marked with blue on the picture.

The edge connectors... quite hard to talk about it: it is integrated to a front layer of the panel. It doesn't have any removable end so I cant really move-pry etc but han't tryed yet. Btw the green PCB (on the picture) attached to it is the inverter, isn't it?

Sidenote 1: please check my edited comment (above your post), I've disassebled the display to the last...

• Re: Fujitsu L19W-2 Vertical rainbow lines.

These are the edge connectors you are talking about?
As I told you before, the display has been disassembled and assembled in a wrong way. I'm not sure if the connectors are in the right holes.

I know that these are newbie questions, but I feel like I have to ask:
Q1: what would happen if I change some of them, plugging into different hole? Would it do any damage?
Q2: Are there any convention about the colors of these connectors? What are these wires?

Sidenote:
Im a beginner with...

• Fujitsu L19W-2 Vertical rainbow lines.

I bought a defective Fujitsu L19W - 2 display and I was hoping that I will be able to repair it. It wasnt powering on: blank screen, no led.
After the purchase I saw that someone already tryed to open it: the bazel is hurt by screwdriver on every side. After opening it I saw that the tapes were also opened up but there is one more thing: the power supply board is connected to the logical (?) board with 2*4 pins (5v, ground, 12v and something else it says). The guy who opened it before me did the re-assembly in a wrong way I believe: The 2 pins of the 12V wasnt connected to the logical board....

• Re: Samsung Syncmaster 245BW

You really cant understand? How else should I explain? I dont know what to do with it and I am looking for advice.

Anyway I see that you can't help me with it so I did it on my own. Took some photos of the result.

Also I made a new video to demonstrate the strange noise coming out of the monitor.

Anybody could help me beside selldoor?Re: Samsung Syncmaster 245BW<br /> ...dont know what...

I dont know how to fix it. Instead of telling that "I dont want to fix it" you could tell me that how to fix it because i have no idea... Im afraid of breaking the circuit, thats why im not touching it and looking for advice....

Those are not caps, thats the rectifier. And it has some seriour damage on the circuit, but im not sure this cause the buzzing noise... Also hile im moving mouse/windows on the display, buzzing is not changing. I've uploaded the pictures with marks so check these out.

Please help me to find out what could make the buzzing noise because im afraid of an any time self destruction....

When i got the monitor, it has no picture. The led was blinking blue. I had to change the 3 resistor (most common problem on this model), in order to get it working....

I've uploaded some new images of the rectifier's bottom. Also did some from the 2 fets, there is a sign of excessive heat. Glue burned down there around the resistor.

There is a component printed DZM803 on the board, it looks like strage to me, dont know why... like it is a bit burned or i dont know if it is the normal color.

Yes, i was in the best position to tell what is buzzing. Maybe i could remove the back plastic cover and record the sound again, but that would be dangerous in my opinion.

Yes, thats it on the picture, as you can see, those are the loosed points. The white thing around the points are the lower layer of the PCB, as you can see it was ripped up.

Another question: Do you think it was made by somebody who was a complete idiot or it is self damage? Might have been opened before i got the display...

Edit: Tomorrow...

Okay, my simple questions are: Why is it giving out buzzing noise? Which component should I double-check in order to get rid of the buzzing? Might it be harmful?

Hi there!
I also got a bad Syncmaster 245B.
It had the most common problem: the 3 resistor. I've changed them and now it is working perfectly, but i have a little problem with it: it is buzzing like a bee.

I have recorded its sound with my phone, its quite good quality and you can hear the buzzing actually (sometimes i hit the case with my phone accidently thats why you can hear knock-knock a few times).
You can check it CLICK HERE.

Its not that...

Are you sure the PDP is junk? :S I wouldnt care about the crack if it is just a light damage and the screen would be still visible. That cracked area can cause not showing picture? What about the speakers? They should give some noise aren't they?

*EDIT*: Thanks for your answer tom66, then i think the only way to sell out boards to get back some $. :S Could you give some advice how could i test the boards before selling out? Or you can tell me about it from what you have seen on the video? I would...
