Great thread, bad HG281D here too...

Symptoms:[LIST][*]Blinks blank, sometimes stay blank. Seems to work best after warmed up than cold[*]Dark pages drives it nuts, blinks like crazy[*]Runs fine at 640x480, no issues at all[*]Brightness/Contrast doesn't work very well, always a click away to resetting to default 100/70[*]Occasional pop sound from the back. Can't recall what was going on that caused this, seems like it was resetting resolution (like quitting a game).[/LIST]

I have a Hannes-G HG281D 28" I'm looking to fix (I have other LCD's put up that I will probably get to eventually, pending the success of fixing this 28")
