I just got the new zener diode in from digikey today. You guys nailed it. The TV seems to work perfectly now. I wanted to let you know that I am thankful for the help!

I had a friend tell me about badcaps and I've been fighting with a Emerson (Funai) LC407EM1 LCD TV which uses the identical power supply as the on you guys have been troubleshooting. We got a power surge that damaged it and it was blowing fuses. I had gone through the same sort of process as above, but set it aside for a long time after finding nothing bad. Amazingly D1208 was shorted on mine too. I ordered a replacement tonight and hope for the same results. What a great site!!
